In this medium-sized trade business, the need for precise workflows and clear structures via a central ERP system kept growing. Efficiency was significantly limited by unclear responsibilities and manually executed processes. In the construction industry, more and more processes are being digitalized, which is why it's also important for SMEs to be properly set up. Public tenders in the industry are managed via GAEB data exchange (Gemeinsamer Ausschuss Elektronik im Bauwesen, the German joint committee for electronics in construction). GAEB enables the submission of quotes and the management of the extensive bill of quantities in the tendering process.

A large and important business area of Schreinerei Feld is handled through public tenders via GAEB file exchange. For this reason, a compatible connection between GAEB and the new ERP system was absolutely essential. Our cross-module interface solution enables file exchange for all key tender information and makes the files available in all necessary Odoo modules.

By replacing the in-house developed ERP system with Odoo, the challenges in day-to-day operations were sustainably resolved. The maintenance work required by the previous ERP system was eliminated with the introduction of Odoo.
