How E-Fox® was ready to hit the ground running from day one with Odoo, GAEB and DATANORM.

At the time of the ERP roll-out, the company was still in its start-up phase, so there were no established processes to build on. Instead, there was a motivated team and a clear ambition: to be ready to deliver from the outset.

E-FOX® provides powerful, future-proof energy solutions – from transformer stations and switchgear through to digital e-services. The company plans and delivers smart energy installations, sourcing some of the required components from external manufacturers.

The challenge was to introduce Odoo in the middle of day-to-day operations. To do this, E-FOX® needed two core processes: the GAEB process in sales, and the import of DATANORM catalogues for purchasing and price management.

We introduced Odoo with a focus on purchasing and sales, integrating solutions that give E-FOX® the agility a young, ambitious company needs. The DATANORM interface was demanding: extensive supplier data, including prices and product units, had to be transferred quickly and reliably. Our import mechanism makes this data available in a structured form for purchasing and costing.

As a result, E-FOX® always stays up to date even when raw material costs fluctuate, thanks to stored raw material proportions. In sales, the GAEB module ensures efficient tender processing, while DATANORM catalogue data enables precise costing based on current market prices.
