Ready to run from day one: How E-Fox was ready to start right away with Odoo, GAEB and DATANORM.

At the time of the ERP implementation, the company was still in its build-up phase, meaning there were no established processes yet. Instead: a motivated team and the goal of being ready to deliver right away.

E-FOX® offers powerful, future-proof energy solutions – from transformer stations and switchgear to digital e-services. The company plans and implements smart energy systems and also procures components from external manufacturers for this purpose.

The challenge was implementing Odoo during ongoing operations. To do so, E-FOX® needed two core processes: the GAEB process in sales and the import of DATANORM catalogs for purchasing and price management.

We implemented Odoo with a focus on purchasing and sales, integrating solutions that give E-FOX® the operational readiness a young, ambitious company needs. The DATANORM interface was demanding: extensive supplier data with prices and product units had to be transferred quickly and reliably. Our import mechanism provides this data in a structured format for purchasing and calculation.

This keeps E-FOX® always up to date, even amid fluctuating raw material costs, thanks to stored raw material shares. In sales, the GAEB module ensures efficient tender processing, while DATANORM catalog data enables precise calculations based on current market prices.
